Well yesterday morning Grandma/Nana went home to be with the Lord. She was 87 years old. She has been telling us for years, since Grandpa died eight years ago, that she was ready to go home. So in the midst of our sorrow we know that she is rejoicing with Jesus today. She loved the Lord with all her heart and was such a prayer warrior for us. We are so glad we got to go down at Christmas and spend some time with her. The last day we saw her, back in Jan., we took her to the beach ,which was her favorite place to go, she called it "her"ocean. We have some great memories to hold on to. The boys are doing OK. This is the first time they are old enough to realize they have lost someone they are close to. Death became "real" to them. We will be traveling down south later this week for the funeral. Thank you for all your prayers!
A good friend of mine just emailed me this verse I thought it was perfect. 2 Corinthians 5:1-10. Thanks Andrea.

I'm sorry for your lost. But I know that she is also with the Lord. That happened with my grandparents. My grandma died and almost to the exact date, a year later, my grandpa died. Incredible how love works. One half is lost and the other, shortly follows.
I couldn't have said it more beautifully. Thank you, Sheri! I'll see you in a few days.
In one hand, I miss her. In the other, I am jealous. She has received her great reward: Jesus face to face.
Thank you Lord!
Sweet, sweet memories!! Love ya, Sher.
Keeping you all in prayer and rejoicing with your grandma she in the presence of our Heavenly Father.
